West End Investment Seminar

04 Sep 2025 to 04 Sep 2025
8:00 am to 10:00 am

This West End market update was held at M&G Real Estate, Nomura, and CO-RE’s recently completed The Fitzrovia. It examined global capital investment in the area, the impact of pedestrianisation such as Oxford Street MDC and the autumn Budget, as well as the leasing and development trends that are shaping the market.

The event opened with a market update presentation from Knight Frank, highlighting signs of recovery in investment activity, driven by several recent large-scale transactions. However, there are headwinds, with uncertainty predicted to continue to impact occupiers’ decision making in Q2.

This was followed by a panel discussion exploring the trends shaping occupier demands, how this shapes investor priorities and the importance of coordinated governance in ensuring the West End remains a leading global market.

Our speakers included:

  • Bradley Baker, CPA Board & Chief Executive, CO-RE
  • William Foster, Partner, London Office Leasing, Knight Frank
  • Alex Fryer, Partner, Central London Capital Markets, Knight Frank
  • Philippa Lambert, WPA Board & Investment Manager, Royal London Asset Management (Panel Chair)
  • Ros Morgan, Chief Executive, Heart of London Business Alliance
  • Dan Nicholson, WPA Vice Chair and Executive Director, GPE
  • Michael Wood, Director of Fund Management, M&G Real Estate
