Save the Date: Circular economy in practice

Taking place during Circular Economy Week, WPA and Westminster City Council will host their third annual Sustainable City Charter Showcase. This interactive breakfast session will explore how circularity is shaping the operation of Westminster’s built environment to deliver a greener, cleaner city.

Featuring a keynote address from Cllr Tim Mitchell, Cabinet Member for City Management at Westminster City Council, the event will focus on circularity in building operations and showcase practical approaches to reducing operational carbon across Westminster. Attendees will hear how Sustainable City Charter signatories are embedding circular economy principles into the day-to-day management of buildings and delivering against the Charter’s eight commitments.

TheSustainable City Charter is an innovative business-led climate action pledge and network for organisations based in Westminster.Launched by Westminster City Council and the Westminster Property Association (WPA), the Charter contains eight commitments for reducing carbon emissions from non-domestic buildings.
