We were delighted to welcome members, stakeholders and their guests at the Londoner Hotel for the WPA Annual Dinner, celebrating Westminster and its built environment.
Guests heard from Marcus Geddes (Managing Director, Workplace, Landsec) who gave his final address as WPA Chair. This was followed by a keynote from renowned lexicographer and etymologist Susie Dent, who explored the origins of some of our industry’s favourite terms and linguistic quirks, highlighting how the combination of Westminster’s diversity of cultures and unique location places it at the very epicentre of language evolution.
Our charity partner for the event was LandAid. We were delighted to raise almost £4,000 from donations to help the charity continue its work to end youth homelessness.
