We were delighted to invite WPA members and stakeholders to our key policy update at CBRE’s headquarters, Henrietta House on Monday 7 March.
The evening reception provided an update on the key strands of policy impacting the sector ahead of the election, including sustainability and changes to community engagement.
The event was opened with a keynote speech by Westminster City Council’s Councillor Matthew Green, Cabinet Member for Business, Licensing and Planning, who gave an overview of the Council’s most recently launched policies.
The panel discussion featured policy experts from Westminster Council, CBRE and the London Councils, who discussed the latest in development, planning and sustainability policy ahead of the local elections. This included commercial retrofit, the new Call for Sites in Westminster and Early Community Engagement guidance.
The reception was followed by drinks, tours and networking at the newly retrofitted Henrietta House which has achieved BREEAM excellence.
