WPA members and stakeholders are invited to join us for an evening reception marking our ongoing partnership with Westminster City Council and exploring how the property sector and local government is working together to support thriving communities across Westminster.
The event will feature a keynote address from Cllr Paul Swaddle OBE, Leader of Westminster City Council, who will share his vision for Westminster’s future growth and discuss how partnership between local government and business can unlock investment, drive economic growth and deliver lasting benefits for local communities.
Guests will also hear emerging themes from Building Communities, a forthcoming WPA research project exploring how investment and development contribute to thriving communities across Westminster. The publication will showcase the projects, programmes and partnerships that help deliver lasting social and economic benefits for local people and places, while considering how greater awareness and understanding of these impacts can be built.
The reception will be hosted by Helical at Brettenham House. This landmark 1930s Art Deco building on the Strand will provide 128,000 sq ft of best-in-class office space, combining heritage with cutting-edge building technology.
