Gender Pay Gap Reporting is bringing gender inequality within the real estate industry into sharp focus. Recent research by Real Estate Balance and PWC (March 2019) shows that despite growing commitment to gender balance across the industry, the proportion of women at senior levels in property companies has not improved since its last survey in 2017.
The property sector has far to go in improving the recruitment, retention and promotion of people from under-represented groups involving race, socio-economic background, sexuality and disability – so we better reflect the demographics of London.
